NAAC – Self Study Report (Cycle 5)

Union Christian College remains dedicated to the fundamental value of truth, steadfastly committed to its pursuit through justice, freedom, and knowledge. The institution upholds the principles laid down by its founders, aiming to foster the overall development of individuals, inspiring and strengthening their best qualities to contribute to the betterment of both the nation and humanity. Established in 1921, Union Christian College at Aluva, Kerala, has attained ‘A’ grade with a CGPA of 3.45 in its fourth cycle of NAAC. The institution holds the prestigious status of a special grade college under Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Being an ISO 14001:2015 certified College with a rich academic history spanning 102 years, the college offers a diverse range of programmes, comprising 16 Undergraduate, 14 Postgraduate, and 10 Doctoral programmes, totaling 40 programmes in all. Currently, the institution is undergoing Accreditation for its Fifth Cycle with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
